HelloSign is an electronic signature software that offers startups evenals large enterprise companies the HelloSign Platform, to automate and manage their most important business transactions. It’s mission is to Simplify Work. HelloSign was originally created by HelloFax and was acquired by Dropbox in early 2019. HelloSign is available in 22 languages.
The HelloSign platform includes products such as eSignature, digital workflow and electronic fax solutions. HelloSign also offers a mobile app. The mobile app lets you quickly send, sign and check the status of signature requests.
All customer data and documents are stored in either the European or North American data infrastructures. Also, for each signed document, HelloSign provides a non-editable audit trail indicating when, who and where (IP address) the document was signed. Documents and data on HelloSign are encrypted and compliant with ISO27001, SOC 2 Type II, eIDAS, ESIGN Act, and GDPR. HelloSign can also QES and HIPAA compliance, with the Premium plan.
Plans & pricing
HelloSign offers four plans. With all the plans, you can use the mobile app to sign, send and manage documents. All four plans also benefit from audit trail and basic support. The prices are based on an annual billing. If you decide to pay monthly, the prices are higher.
There is a free plan available. However, if you’re interested in a paid plan, you can first use the 30-day trial period.
Free – $0
If you don’t have a lot of documents to sign in a month, the Free plan will be enough for you. Only one user can use this plan and you can only send up to 3 sign requests per month. In addition, you can send automatic email reminders to your recipients, track responses, get email notifications and you benefit from signer fields.
Essentials – $15 per month
Within this plan you can send unlimited sign requests. You also benefit from 5 templates, template links, reminders & notifications, multiple languages, and signer fields. You can also send documents directly from your content management system. Furthermore, enjoy security and trust with 2FA, 256-bit AES and TLS encryption, Data validation and tamper-proof documents.
Standard – $25 per user, per month
With the Standard plan, you can buy 2 to 4 user licenses. Instead of 5 templates, you can use 15 templates with the Standard plan and you can also send unlimited sign request. In addition, this plan includes all the features of the Essentials plan, plus in-person signing, redirect after signing, admin console, leverage reports that provide insights into user activity, team features, customized branding, bulk mailing and signer attachments. For extra security, you are able to request advanced SMS authentication and signer access codes. Within this plan, HelloSign can also support HIPAA compliance with a signed BBA.
Various integrations are also available for an additional fee. Think of integrations such as Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ and Oracle CPQ.
Premium – ask for quote
This plan is for teams that need more advanced features. You can purchase this plan from 5 users. You can send unlimited sign requests and can use unlimited templates. In addition, this plan includes all the features of the Standard plan, plus advanced signer fields, performance dashboards, bulk delete, data residency, masked fields and Single Sign-On. You can also add logic to your documents and you can sync HelloSign documents into your preferred cloud storage integrations.
Within this plan, HelloSign can also support Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) for an additional fee.
